Imagine a third-rate cover-based third person shooter with bad weapon selection, bad enemies, and a terrible auto save feature. As you're playing it, even 20 minutes or so, take the disc out and put in a third-rate flight combat sim with bad controls, unbalanced enemies, frustrating radar, and a small amount of weapons. That's Dark Void.
You fly around for a while getting shot by enemies you cannot see and shooting at them with ineffectual weapons you cannot change, then you land and fight enemies who are sometimes invincible and who drop weapons that may or may not be better than the ones you have. Then someone ambushes you and kills you and you have to re-play the last 15 minutes because the save points are put AFTER the ambushes and not BEFORE.
There is no more to this review, the game is just bad.
