For the entire month of February, I have been downloading PS3 game demos like there's no tomorrow. One of the last possible demos available to me was Pixel Junk Monsters. I wasn't saving the "best for the last"... it just seemed like a total dud, and I was repeatedly passing it by.
Finally, after all the other freebies had been played, I gave it a go...
Episode 5 of the first season of Sam and Max is my second favorite of the series, behind Abe Lincoln Must Die. This one takes place in that zany world, Reality 2.0 which is taking over the Internet and only you can save everyone from becoming hypnotized online game addicts!
Full of wit and references to gaming culture, this game is incredibly awesome. It's a bit lacking in the graphics department; Telltale shortcut a bit to get this game out.
It's hard to find an energy drink which is, at the same time, tasty and buzz inducing. Rockstar has done a great job with Rockstar Punched, a fruit punch flavored energy drink which contains a decent amount of buzz along with a flavor which won't put you off your lunch.
At 260 calories per 16oz can, it falls right into the "guilty pleasure" department of Energy Drinks when on a diet, but you can do much, much worse in the energy drink market than Rockstar Punched.
To continue the series of carbonated beverages, I present to you Lo-Carb Monster, a favorite of mine for over a year, despite it's crazy price. If I'm looking for an energy drink for a quick buzz, this is the first one I go for.
The addiction started well over a year ago, at a datacenter company I worked for who stocked their refrigerator with tons of free bubbly beverages. As you may or may not know, I'm a bit on the hefty side, and my main temptation isn't twinkies or 72oz steaks and mashed potatoes... it's soda pop.
For those of you that don't know, an operating system is the computer program that runs all the OTHER computer programs. Windows is actually a program, and it's ridiculously expensive. The fact that it comes on your computer is no different than the fact that AOL came on your computer 10 years ago. They're both just programs. The Operating System is the basic level of operations that you can access, and it controls how the other programs run and which of your computer's resources are directed to which programs. Mac OSX is another famous operating system.
An inflight movie for Japanese Air Lines? Really? It's true! An excellent story roughly based on manga Hikōtei Jidai, Porko Rosso ("The Red Pig", in Italian) is actually a very good, relatively deep movie that just does a good job of being f
I've mentioned my gaming setup a few times, so I thought I'd actually review the display officially. Long story short: super awesome.
I've had the chance recently to see the BBC4 Documentary, How Music Works... and as a musician, I have to say I was thoroughly entertained.
But it's not some technical boring lecture on music theory... I'm sure everyone could walk away from a showing having fully enjoyed the experience...
...if you can get your hands on it, that is.
It's Doctor Who meets Star Trek: with a plot a little more fantastic than usual, but with a grounding in Star Trek lore that makes the bitterness in my mouth left by Star Trek: Nemesis fade, the new Star Trek movie is off to a grand start.
True XBOX Believers will cry "Sacrilidge!" But my goal for buying an XBOX360 was not for the gaming per-se, but for the media center capabilities. Having a wide variety of games is a plus, however, a plus I hope to get into soon!
Due to this outlook, however, my first "upgrade" was a used XBOX360 Media Remote Control. And I must say I wouldn't want to do media on the XBOX360 without it.
