I first found this anime on a discount rack at a used video shop and was intrigued, as a Shirlock Holmes fan.
The four episodes I had in hand were fun and intriguing, but I didn't really want to review the series until I could get my hands on a better source.
A better source I've found! And it's YouTube! And having viewed even more episodes, I can finally, safely, give it an AWESOME.
It's Doctor Who meets Star Trek: with a plot a little more fantastic than usual, but with a grounding in Star Trek lore that makes the bitterness in my mouth left by Star Trek: Nemesis fade, the new Star Trek movie is off to a grand start.
True XBOX Believers will cry "Sacrilidge!" But my goal for buying an XBOX360 was not for the gaming per-se, but for the media center capabilities. Having a wide variety of games is a plus, however, a plus I hope to get into soon!
Due to this outlook, however, my first "upgrade" was a used XBOX360 Media Remote Control. And I must say I wouldn't want to do media on the XBOX360 without it.
When I reviewed the Crackdown demo in the XBOX360 Demo Roundup I gave it an EPIC WIN. The action was engaging, the gameplay was fun and challenging, and the game showed real promise of progression. All of this is still true...until you get the patch.
Humans have wiped out all resources on their planet and made it into a polluted ball that only Al Gore could love. To escape this sludgepit, they then escape to and Terraform Mars and Venus. They demand independence, Earth says no, there's a big war and all three planets are destroyed. They make a multi generational ship and travel to the nearest terraformable planet and set ourselves to wipe out the hippie peace-loving aliens on the planet below.
Dear lord Humans suck!
