Sam and Max Episode 6 of Season One, Dark Side of the Moon is a great continuation of the series. And it's got a really need puzzle solving boss battle that harkens back to the former days of glory for the Adventure game market.
However, this game doesn't really stand on it's own. It depends heavily on previous chunks of the game being well known to the players, and it's a bit of a letdown on the writing side of things. It's still great... but it's not the best of the series.
A handicapped Space Marine From The Future joins a Crazy Scientific Project to allow him to Jack In to an Avatar and learn about the Na'vis and how they peacefully coexist on a World Wide Web.
Something has gone wrong on Mars, and the only response is a highly trained team of marine misfits who have to give up their leave to kick some demon backside.
As an action flick, it was OK. As a game tie-in, it was OK. Not really special, except the fact that it was Doom, instead of, say, Generic Horror Action Adventure the Movie.
My friend bought me Fallout 3. I bought Bioshock. Fallout 3 failed to work correctly. So I played Bioshock.
While "technically" Bioshock isn't the type of game I really enjoy (I'm not into survival horror all that much. Don't even watch scary movies) I must say that the Bioshock Experience was quite good.
So, I give it an AWESOME... with caviats.
